info@hiseaexpress.comA behind-the-scenes look at our Yiwu warehouse — from supplier collection and consolidation to export declaration and container stuffing — and why most LCL cargo booked Monday clears Chinese customs by Wednesday morning.
If you have ever shipped less-than-a-container cargo from Yiwu, you already know the pain: a 30-square-meter supplier cluster, six different factories, four sets of paperwork, and one weekly cutoff. What looks like "just LCL" on a quotation is actually a six-stage sequence that our team runs every week without losing the trail.
Stage one is supplier collection. Our Yiwu warehouse sits 20 minutes from the Futian and Huangyuan markets, which means we pick up from six to ten factories per consolidation without burning a day in transit. Every carton is barcoded on receipt and photographed for the cargo manifest your destination partner will see three weeks later.
Stage two is consolidation and packing. Mixed cargo needs segregated zones — fragile on the top layer, dangerous goods on the bottom, palletised versus loose. Our warehouse team marks every pallet with destination port code, weight and the consignee's internal SKU. This is the boring part that decides whether your container arrives intact or not.
Stage three is export customs. Because the warehouse is bonded and we hold an AEO-equivalent working practice, most shipments clear in 24 to 48 hours. We file the declaration in the morning, customs inspects in the afternoon, and the container is at Ningbo or Shanghai terminal by Wednesday morning — ready for a Friday or Saturday sailing.
Stages four through six are vessel loading, milestone tracking, and pre-arrival documents to the destination. The part that surprises most new clients is how predictable the cadence is once the first three stages are done right. If your cargo is in our Yiwu warehouse on Monday, you can plan your inland delivery in Lagos, Tema or Santos for the following month.
The shortcut is simple: book before our Wednesday cutoff, send supplier lists early, and let us consolidate. The result is a fixed weekly sailing, a fixed inland arrival, and no surprises on the freight invoice.
